Selling your Home
We are still asked “Do I still need a Home Information Pack?” The answer is NO as the requirement to have a Home Information Pack was removed with the repeal of the Housing Act 2006.
It is still however necessary to obtain an Energy Performance Certificate. This must be ordered and paid for BEFORE the property can be marketed. Your Estate Agent will offer to arrange this for you but it will often be quicker and cheaper for you to obtain one yourself from Synergy Property Services Ltd.
